One of the advantages of buying real estate in Turkey is the ability to quickly obtain a residence permit. However, many investors are interested not only in residence permit, but in citizenship as well. Having a local passport allows one to leave the country for any period of time without losing immigration status. In the case of a residence permit one cannot travel for more than six months.

How to get a residence permit and citizenship?

The procedure for obtaining such documents in Turkey is quite simple:

• residence permit can be obtained after purchasing real estate;
• citizenship is obtained by investors who have bought housing in the amount of $250,000 or more, or by holders of a residence permit 5 years after obtaining the status.
