A plot of land in exclusive location - Lielupe. Lielupe is part of Jurmala, 19 km. from Riga, the territory lying between the sea and the estuary of the Lielupe river. One of the first places, where summerhouses started being built. Building started here in 1910, beginning at the parts near the sea. Houses were built right inside the large forest park.At the bank of the Lielupa river the highest dune of Jurmala is situated - the Balta or Raga dune (15 m above sea level). A steamboat landin "Stirnurags" used to be there. There are several sports complexes in Lielupe, the most significant being the yachting club and the national sports centre VTC "Lielupe".
