The house was built in 1900 by the famous architect Konstantin Pekshan.

According to historical sources, the first information about the land plot in Riga at 9 Audeju Street dates back to 1458
year - at that time the house of Hans Hofbern was located here.
The building itself, which has survived to this day, is more than 200 years old.

Over the centuries, the house has changed several owners. In the 19th century, the building belonged to a member of the Riga City Council, the State Treasury used it as a tenant, for some time there was even a stable. Since the twentieth century, the house has been used more for commercial purposes. There were various shops, a chemical and bacteriological laboratory, a confectionery, a canteen and various workshops. For many years the Institute of Design of the Ministry of Public Utilities worked within its walls.

In 2008, the house acquired new owners and was completely
reconstructed and now it is one of the most beautiful and luxurious houses on Audeju street in the style of classicism and
Art Nouveau. Refined, elegant and modern interiors with luxurious decorative elements
looks very personable.
