Croatia received visa-free travel from the United States

Under the terms of visa-free travel, citizens of Croatia are allowed to enter the United States for up to 90 days.
Under the terms of visa-free travel, citizens of Croatia are allowed to enter the United States for up to 90 days. According to representatives of the Croatian government, such a decision by the US was a recognition of the common economic and security interests of the two countries.
Conditions for obtaining a visa-free visa
Croatia became the 40th country to participate in the visa-free program. To do this the country had to confirm compliance with several mandatory criteria, which are associated with:
- counter-terrorism security;
- border management;
- protection of documents.
The Electronic Travel Authorization (ESTA) must be updated for the rule changes to take effect, which will be done no later than December 1st, 2021.
