Record-breaking city for real estate sales in Turkey

In the first half of 2021, almost 1.3 million real estate purchase and sale transactions were concluded in Turkey. Thanks to this the country was able to receive more than 8 billion euros in tax for the registration of objects. In June, 282.2 thousand units of real estate of various sizes and purposes were sold in the country.

Which regions were the most popular?

The list of cities in which the largest number of objects was sold includes:

• Istanbul - 161.5 thousand.
• Ankara - 84.3 thousand.
• Izmir - almost 60 thousand;
• Antalya - 47.7 thousand;
• Bursa - 44.3 thousand;
• Konya - almost 42 thousand.

Residential properties were purchased the most. Their number has exceeded 535 thousand units. Farmland was in second place (350 thousand objects). Land plots were also very popular (almost 227 thousand units were purchased).
