What price hikes should one expect?
In most municipalities of the country it is planned to increase the price of the following services:
- water supply;
- garbage removal.
Almost a third of municipalities foresee the likelihood of a trade tax increase.
Many social programs are under threat of existence. For example, in some regions it is planned to close city swimming pools in order to reduce the cost of their maintenance. Some municipalities plan to limit street lighting in order to save the budget. Such decisions are largely related to the economic problems caused by the pandemic.
