  • marriage must take place on the territory of Montenegro;
  • applicant must have a valid passport;
  • it is mandatory to provide evidence that the applicant has a steady income, as well as a place to live.

If a foreigner receives a residence permit, then he can relocate his family members to the country - children, wife or husband.

It is also important to note that all foreign students can apply for a residence permit. The fact that a student got accepted to a university gives them the right to apply.

The investor can apply for a residence permit in any location in Montenegro. To do this he needs to contact the police department of Montenegro. The documents that must be submitted include a passport, medical insurance, a criminal record, as well as a number of papers confirming employment, ownership of real estate, etc.
