How Russians live in Montenegro: income level, residence permit and more

Montenegro is in great demand among those Russians who choose a country for permanent residence. It attracts Russian investors for several reasons. Although these numbers are not quite high, it is important to consider that food, clothing and many essential goods in this country are much cheaper than in the EU or even Russia.

Is it easy to get a residence permit in Montenegro?

Compared to other European countries, it is relatively easy to obtain a residence permit in Montenegro. A pretext for this could be:

• vocational training or research activities;
• internship in the country;
• family reunification;
• marriage.
