How Russians live in Montenegro: income level, residence permit and more
Montenegro is in great demand among those Russians who choose a country for permanent residence. It attracts Russian investors for several reasons.

Montenegro is in great demand among those Russians who choose a country for permanent residence. It attracts Russian investors for several reasons. First of all, this country has a is a warm and mild climate. There are many resorts in this region, but at the same time they are not as expensive than in other resort countries of Europe.

Another reason is the similarity of mentality. Coming from Russia, a person quickly gets used to local customs and way of life since they are quite similar to Russian ones. Even if the knowledge of the language is minimal, it will not cause serious discomfort when moving along the streets of any city in Montenegro -  there are a lot of people from Russia, Ukraine and Belarus, and the Montenegrins themselves are able to understand basic Russian.

The third important factor is the availability of housing in the country. Prices here are much lower than in the neighboring countries that are part of the EU (Montenegro is still in the process of joining the European Union).

How much do Russian earn in Montenegro?

The level of income of Russian citizens in Montenegro very much depends on what kind of skills they have. Many people move here for the opportunity to realize their business. Cases when this can be done very effectively and efficiently are not uncommon. But it is important to understand that capital, labor and more are needed to implement such ideas.

Russians most often choose the service sector as their first job in the country. Average salaries are as follows:

  • housekeeper - up to 400 euros per month;
  • waiter - from 450 euros per month;
  • teacher - 600 euros per month;
